Electrical Engineer x2 (Data Centre Project) Location: Milan, Italy This organisation delivers full turnkey mission-critical campuses across Europe, supporting global technology clients through design coordination, installation, commissioning, and final handover. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex electrical systems on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing technical documentation, supporting installation quality, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme. These are hands-on, site-based engineering roles within a fast-paced construction environment.

A leading European data centre delivery specialist is currently seeking two experienced Electrical Engineers to join a major hyperscale data centre development in Milan.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors on site to ensure programme alignment
• Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and electrical documentation
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractor personnel
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with project requirements and quality benchmarks
• Maintain compliance with the Integrated Management System across all electrical activities
• Prioritise, allocate, and track technical workloads across the engineering team
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety and operational obligations
• Apply troubleshooting and corrective action processes to resolve technical issues quickly
• Maintain accurate document control logs, registers, and engineering trackers
• Prepare electrical handover packs, inspection reports, and test documentation
• Promote high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices on site
• Complete weekly safety observation reporting (“Don’t Walk By” cards)
• Support commissioning readiness and final system close-out activities
Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an electrical engineering role within M&E contracting environments
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or large commercial project experience highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and installation methodologies
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works in live construction settings
• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel with strong documentation discipline
• Process-driven mindset with a focus on quality, compliance, and safety
